Today was quite an experience for Harold! He traveled with the Bishop on a 3 hour journey into the mountains (the western Ghat mountains) to visit a tribal village and to preach a sermon! Donna stayed behind nursing an injured back. No worries ~ just a strain! Harold said that he saw signs along the way warning of elephants in the area. Much to his disappointment, he did not see any. He said that the people were very warm and welcoming. The children are just beautiful. The forest was filled with all kinds of interesting plants such as pepper, vanilla, cocoa, coffee, purple sage, coconut, bananas and a variety of other fruits that we don't know the name of yet.
