This past week I have been traveling through the Diocese documenting the many ways the East Kerala Diocese is working with very poor communities in its area. One major area of work is with the many workers who have become unemployed because of the closing of the tea plantations. This woman is one of the few who remains employed but wages are 50 rupees a day = $1.

We welcome your comments. We used this site to tell the story of our journey to south India in January through April of 2006. During this time we were the guests of The Most Reverend Dr. K.J. Samuel Bishop of the East Kerala Diocese in the Church of South India. During this time Harold served as guest lecturer and consultant with the Diocese and Donna shared her music through out the Diocese. The Diocese has invited Harold to serve as their liaison to the United States and both Harold and Donna are eager to visit with groups who would like to hear first hand the story of this faith filled ministry and how you might share in partnership with the Diocese.
